
CEPI
The
European Council for Real Estate Professions (in French: Conseil Européen des
Professions Immobilières - CEPI) is a non-profit international association with
headquarters in Brussels associating major professional organizations and
associations for real estate agents and property managers in the EU member
States. It represents over 80,000 European real estate professionals. It has
two branches: EPAG - European Property Agents Group and CEAB - European
Confederation of Property Managers.
In June 2000 Polish Real Estate Federation and CEPI
signed a bilateral agreement under which PREF became a candidate member of
CEPI. The Federation was the first Central and East European organization which
was invited for membership by CEPI.

CEREAN -
CENTRAL EUROPEAN REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATIONS’ NETWORK
The
Federation is one of the founding members of CEREAN which was created in June 1995 in Kraków, Poland.
The network links thousands of real estate professionals from 12 Central and
Eastern European countries: Armenia,
Bulgaria, Czech Republic,
Georgia, Hungary, Latvia,
Poland, Romania, Russia,
Slovakia, Turkey and Ukraine.

INTERNATIONAL CONSORTIUM OF REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATIONS
(ICREA)
The International Consortium of Real Estate
Associations (ICREA) was formed in May 2001 as a global alliance whose members
are leading national real estate organizations in the world's major markets.
Through a multilateral agreement and specific business practice protocols, this
alliance provides significant benefits not only to its constituent members who
seek to do transnational business but to its domestic constituents as well.
ICREA's primary objective is to assist members of the respective organizations in
efficiently and profitably facilitating transnational business. It is done
mainly through the ICREA website www.worldproperties.com.
ICREA and its member associations are committed to high standards of professional
conduct for member brokers. Each member association has a country-specific code
of conduct and, collectively, the organization has adopted a statement on
International Principles of Conduct.
PREF is one of the founding members of ICREA.

NATIONAL
ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®
National Association of Realtors® (NAR), based in Chicago,
is the largest organization associating real estate specialists in the world.
It was founded as the National Association of Real Estate Exchanges in 1908.
Members of NAR are licensed to practice real estate in the 50 states and Washington, D.C., and the
territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S.
Virgin Islands. Today, the National Association of Realtors® has about
1,000,000 members.
In October 1996 a Bilateral Cooperation Agreement was
signed between PREF and NAR.

CCIM
Institute
The CCIM Institute (CIREI till 2000) based in Chicago is an affiliate of the National
Association of Realtors (NAR). It confers the CCIM designation (Certified
Commercial Investment Member). The CCIM movement began more than 40 years ago
with commercial real estate practitioners who wanted to elevate their business
practices through education and networking. Then and now, education and
networking remain the cornerstones of the CCIM designation and the reason for
its success. Today more than 17,000 professionals hold the CCIM designation,
among which there are 28 Polish newly designated practitioners.
PREF signed an agreement of cooperation with the CCIM Institute in 2001.
On the basis of the agreement PREF is the exclusive provider of CCIM training
in Poland.

NVAR
Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR) – the Federation is
its honorary member since 1999 and has a bilateral agreement of cooperation.
NVAR is a partner NAR association for PREF.

INTERNATIONAL
REAL PROPERTY FOUNDATION (IRPF)
The IRPF
is an independent organization created by National Association of Realtors in
1992 for the purpose of developing private sector, market - oriented real
estate institutions in Central and Eastern Europe.
The general objective of the program has been to create a
well structured, ethical and educated real estate profession committed to the
protection of the public, promotion of home ownership, the establishment and
preservation of private property, efficient and equitable real estate markets
and a legal environment supportive of these objectives.
PREF signed an agreement of
cooperation with IRPF in 1995.
